About Us
Calvary's Kids is an integral part of the overall mission of the church. We exist to raise children in the context of a loving church family. Parents, leaders, and every member of the church is important to this process. Our goal is to teach every child that comes through the church doors about Christ and His love for them. By doing this consistently, we will help each child grow and learn about how he or she can have a close relationship with Christ!

Our Team
There are many people throughout the church who work hard every week to put programs together, come up with ideas, lead classes, and in general just be there for the children. Our leaders are involved in aspects of the children's program such as Sunday School, Children's Church, Children's Choir, summer events and field trips.

For Our Leaders
We will have some training opportunities coming up this summer. We may do one of these, or more than one, or all of them. Take a look at the options, and see which you might want to plug into!

1) "Discovering Your Gifts"
small group format, sessions on learning more about how your God-given gifts can fit into our ministry

2) "Teacher Training On-The-Go"
an individual, weekly study that will challenge and encourage you in every aspect of your work with the children's ministry

3) "Up-To-Date Training"
small group format, sessions on kids today, how to relate to them and reach them AND their families

4) "Handy Pocket Guide"
a small fold out laminated resource to be put in classrooms for teachers to refer to when needed, with quick classroom management tips and more!
