A Brief History
Calvary Baptist Church was started in 1951 in a garage building as a mission Sunday School of the First Baptist Church of Ware Shoals. The mission grew steadily and in 1953 the First Baptist Church issued 105 letters to Calvary.
The members moved into their newly-constructed building in 1954. Since then the church has continued to grow and seek to follow God in all it does and to join Him in His work.
